A niche managed service business, specialising in providing high-performance services across backup, storage and disaster recovery within regulated industries, requires a Senior Sales Executive with experience in selling services to mid-service and enterprise organisations. With direct experience in shaping bespoke infrastructure-as-a-service solutions, the successful candidate will be selling at all levels including C-Suite.
Experienced sales executive with 10-15 years’ experience.
Educated to a minimum of degree level
Experience of services sales in the IT infrastructure space such as outsourcing, managed services and cloud infrastructure is advantageous, although non-IT sales experience will be considered.
Comfortable selling at C-level and one level below.
Primarily responsible for new business development but will also be expected to manage and develop existing accounts/relationships.
Direct sales only (no channel).
Prospects are generally mid-size and enterprise firms in regulated sectors so a track record of results against sector specific needs is advantageous.
Desire to work with prospects and colleagues to define and shape propositions rather than just sell out-of-the-box offerings.
Will be working in a small team and must be self-sufficient.
Ability to produce high quality proposals – with technical/operational/commercial input as necessary – is vital.
